Best Strength Cards

BodhiSeed

Some of my favorites are below.

It is interesting that some decks depict Strength as something to draw from (the courage of the spiritual warrior):

While others depict it as something that must be controlled (allowing one to be compassionate and tolerant rather than impulsive):

nice!

love your picks!

To me it's just not Strength. It's Lust, which is fine, but it doesn't stand for Strength to me. That's one thing I appreciate about the Mutational Alchemy tarot, they changed Lust back to Strength.

I don't have the deck, but one Strength I really like is the one from the Dante tarot (the one by the same artist as the Tarot of the Stars Eternal). I love that stylized art. The Strength figure is neither forcing open, nor forcing closed the lion's mouth - she just has it placed in between his jaws. She's also impressively muscular. More buff Strength ladies please! :D

I'm also very fond of the Silicon Dawn's Strength. In some early decks, Strength (or Force) is shown as a woman with a broken pillar (referring to Samson breaking the pillars of the temple I think) so the Silicon Dawn is a neat twist. Instead of breaking a pillar, she has actually taken the pillar's place, like a caryatid, and is holding up the roof. There's a lion there too, or a lion-human hybrid, looking more like a fierce-acting housecat than a lion, but I like that about it.

I am partial to the Strength card in the Bohemian Gothic Tarot since that is my favorite deck. The woman is neither attempting to close nor open the lion's jaws. Rather, the "demon" woman has draped herself on top of the lion with a rather sullen look on her face. A darker take on the Strength card, but I really like this one.

"I think" this is from a Lo Scarabeo deck, the Gnomes or an astrological deck...
I used it on my blog this morning. It seems to cover taking things head on, where there are probably far more powerful and more effective ways to dealing with things.

My favorite is the one from Tarot Maçonnique. You can't really tell from the picture, but the gold color is a metallic paint with a nice sheen. Brilliant deck...

I don't own this deck but this to me it by far the best Strength card. She looks extremely calm albeit her vulnerability. Tarot of imagination.

Libra 58

I think of two Strength cards that I like very much. The first one is from The Cosmic Tarot and the second one is from The Legacy Of The Divine Tarot.

Viridian

The After Tarot has a very sweet Strength card. I also love the ones from the Mucha, Light Grey and Ostara Tarots.

My favorite is the one from Tarot Maçonnique. You can't really tell from the picture, but the gold color is a metallic paint with a nice sheen. Brilliant deck...

Very interesting deck! Unfortunately, I think I know what this means: "Cet article ne peut pas être expédié aux États-Unis."
