Creating the Prisma Visions Tarot

eadsjamesreads

I'm currently working on my second tarot deck, The Prisma Visions tarot, a full color 79 card deck inspired by my previous deck The Light Visions Tarot.

I'm well on my way with the Prisma Visions deck and I've just finished the second suit, the Ballad of Chalices. Each of the four suits are created as long panoramas that tell a story. I created a process video of the creation of the Ballad of Chalices. You can see it here: http://prismavisionstarot.tumblr.com/post/99594544964/creating-the-ballad-of-chalices-for-the-prisma

You can also follow the process of the deck on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/prismavisionstarot

I like the style of your art, looks promising.

I've backed it. :D

But one small point - since you are here... The Light Visions smelled terrible when it arrived (print stink of some kind, not cigarettes or anything...) - is there a way around this ?

Just asking - I want it anyway !

Actually, I missed you here. I dont do tumblr and I found out about your deck at the beginning of this week, via an enthusiastic post about your kickstarter campaign. I had no idea about a colored version and I missed all the early birds prices. They were gone in minutes.

I like the borders of your deck, deep blue.
The cards look a little bit dark on screen, how do they come out in printing?

I'm absolutely enthralled by the deck so far! I backed you and am super excited to see the completed work. It's surreal and evocative. I love the colors and the flowing theme of the deck itself.

Backed it this morning and am treating myself to the limited edition with wood box :)

Oh yeah, I signed up for a copy of this deck already ;) I love how the minors are borderless.

I saw it on Tumblr too... Tumblr is actually where I discovered the last three decks I've bought (Wooden Tarot, Wild Unknown, and this Prisma Visions).
