Is it really possible to have too many animal decks?

I see some animal decks as being direct, earthy, and primal, and other animal decks as being emotional and heartrendingly poignant. I feel that Spiritsong falls into the latter category. I want to love it, but I fear that the colors will be too drab and muddy.
