Full Moon in Virgo

At 10:34 GMT today the Full Moon occured in Virgo. At the time of the Full Moon the Saturn/Pluto opposition and the Jupiter/Neptune oppositions are still with us. And these have been discussed in the previous Full Moon and New Moon posts - Saturn/Pluto links can indicate the controlled use of power, or they can represent the conflict of power and authority both of which may be being exhibited in the mundane world as I write.

Saturn is also square to both Sun and Moon - the conscious creative will and the subconscious receptive and reactive mind. Issues such as self defence, the importance of authority and controlled responses are important in the immediate future - the next couple of days till the aspect with the Sun separates completely. At the same time Saturn squares Mercury which is also conjunct to the Sun. The Sun/Mercury conjunction is applying and will be with us for the next ten days or so. This aspect can suggest strong opinions but also stresses the importance of knowledge and the use of knowledge in a creative manner.

Mercury/Saturn have been referred to as the voice of authority or the disciplined mind - but here the square suggests some conflict, so it may well be more related to learning the hard way, or language barriers which make communication difficult. It may well mean that authority has difficulty in communicating its message.

Mercury also has difficult aspects to Jupiter and Pluto - this is not a good time for thinking or communicating - at least for a few days.

At a more romantic level, Venus is conjunct Neptune - a time for romantic dreams and is sextile to Pluto showing the power of love.

Mars is inconjunct to Jupiter - any aspect between these two tends to indicate a willingness to fight for one's beliefs - the harder aspects suggesting the fight may be more difficult or that energy would be better used in a different way in order to achieve what is believed in.
