Sacred Days of Yule Spread

It is a 12 card spread to be used between December 20th and the 31st.
I draw my 12 cards, lay them out on newspaper with low-tack tape to hold them in place and turn one card a day over the course of the 12 days. Once all the spread is revealed I then do a reading based on the whole. (I use tape and paper because I can fold it out of the way when I'm not reading the daily cards.)

I've done this spread every year since 2006. I think solstice is on the 22nd this year rather than the 21st on the original instructions.

edited to add: I've always thought this Wheel of the Year Mandala looked interesting too..

I'm not sure how many years I've been doing this spread, but it's become something I look forward to doing each year. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the season- a little "me" time each day to keep me centered.

I started doing this in 2008; I think last year, I didn't post it on AT. I'm looking forward to this year's circle, and I'm going to move away from my Sacred Circle deck (which I.have used for the past 2 yrs for this) and use a different one!

Hi AJ! *waving*

I looked at the Wheel of the Year Mandala; it's doing a bit too much for me. I'd have to tone it down for my specific use, though I have no idea how I would do that.

AJ

It's too big for me to get my skinny mind around but I still like the idea of it :)

Welcome home, I've missed you.

Zelmira

I have been doing it for a couple of years and I am planning to do it this year too. Last year was a lot of fun, posting the reading for each day in the forum.
Thank you for the reminder.
