Every once in a while, I take my deck out to do some specific study. I had not yet done the comparison of the four tribes or families that make up the Courts in this deck, so I laid them out as suggested in the companion book.
It struck me that as I laid them Pentacles to the north, Swords to the east, Wands to the south and Cups to the west that the seasons fell neatly into place, too - winter, spring, summer and fall. I looked through the deck at the numbered cards for each suit and except for the ones where the scene is indoors in a room with no window or open door, they continue the seasonal representation.
Then it struck me, "Why am I just now noticing that when I've had this deck almost two years?"
