Universal Fantasy - Wider Perspective

Queen of Disks

Rambling...

I got through with the Knight of Swords and thought that maybe she is on a quest, too. The deck seems to be about people on quests, and the typical characters, problems, and situations anybody on a quest may run into along the way.

Yes, that flamingo on the Ace of Chalices is rather creepy. (Never thought that a flamingo could be creepy!) The unicorn in the Seven of Pentacles is the second scariest unicorn I have ever seen. (The scariest unicorn ever is on the Moon card in the Handl. :bugeyed: ) This deck takes normal nice friendly animals (even in normal fantasy stories) and completely inverts them to make some really scary critters! })

And takes scary-seeming ones and makes them into friendly characters - 9 of Chalices, 6 of Chalices, Ace of Wands, Strength . . . :)

I hear you about the Knight. Definitely early stages of a quest - setting out, that sort of thing.
