3.The Empress- 'I'm Every Woman' Chaka Khan, 'A Woman's Worth' Alicia Keys
4.The Emperor-

In that case - Joe Jackson's "I'm a man".

9.The Hermit- 'Big Girls Don't Cry' Fergie

Isn't that more Five Cups? I'd be inclined to go Joan Armatrading's "Me Myself I", a huge hit and very much a Hermit song. :)

10.The Wheel of Fortune- 'Hot N' Cold' Katy Perry

Or Rosanne Cash's "The Wheel", which has a lot of other Tarot symbolism not only in the lyrics but in the film clip.

11.Justice- 'Karma' Alicia Keys, 'In the Jailhouse Now' Tim Blake Nelson

Or Aretha Franklin's "Respect".

13.Death- 'Landslide' Stevie Nicks/ Fleetwood Mac, 'Don't Speak' No Doubt

Or "I just died in your arms tonight", or Paul Kelly's "Everything's Turning to White" or "Don't pay the Ferryman".

14.Temperance-
That's easy - Baker Street! ("Give up the boozer and the one-night stands")

16.The Tower-

And this is even easier - Leonard Cohen's Tower of Song, which is not only about the music industry symbolised as a prison-tower, but about Tower-happenings.

18.The Moon- 'Celestial' Tori Kelly, 'She Wolf' Shakira

Dean Martin, That's Amore ("When the Moon hits the sky, like a big ...")

19.The Sun- 'Happy' Pharrell
Goanna, "Razor's edge" (She's trying to touch the sun" as a symbol for reaching out for happiness), or "Walking on sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves, which captures the sun's essential energy.

20.Judgment-
"Every Step you take" - Sting.

21. The World-

"Around the world", Daft Punk.

Really, you're trying to overthink. Why not go with feeling Tarot energy and feeling songs? Then you'll pull them really quickly.:)

Scarlet Woodland

I have been known to describe the four of wands by singing "celebrate good times, come on..." to my layman other half :D

I love these. Thanks for the perspective, Nisaba. Yes, you are absolutely correct in the suggestion that I am thinking much too hard about them! These are clever and sort of made me facepalm myself. Ha-ha

That is perfect. The song reminds me of the type of music that is played at a wedding. Ha-ha Thank you!

FaintlyMacabre

LOL! This is something I never tried.

The HP - She Bop (No, I am not serious...)

Empress - I am Woman

The Lovers - Unchained Melody

The Chariot - The Troika from The Lieutenant Kije Suite

Death - oh, some dead teenager song, "Teen Angel" - or "To Keep My Love Alive" or "Poor Jud is Dead" "Loch Lomond"

The Moon - I have to go with Blue Moon or That's Amore (when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie - can you resist that?) Maybe Ciro can alter his card. Or Moon River. I have too many.

The Sun - Look on the Sunny Side - The Carter Family

Judgment - Hallelujah

8 of Cups - Don't Think Twice

Diana

Zephyros

Nice choices. I will have to think about it but I associate the Star with Amazing Grace. Maybe "Let it Go" for the Fool, although any kind of song like that, a "YOLO" song, would fit.

The Priestess would be a song at all, at least not with words. Something instrumental would fit.

Queen, A kind of Magic for the Magician, although I don't know why.

The Empress, Mona Lisa by Nat King Cole. But, again, any love song extolling feminine virtues would fit.

The Hierophant could be Doe a Deer from The Sound of Music, or even ABC. Any song about teaching, I guess.

I will give this a thought for more. Nice little exercise. :)
