Clow Cards: The Rain

cardlady22

This can show one of two things. Either it is a good time for nurturing and doing what is needed to enhance or encourage growth. Or it can also indicate a cleansing of sorts is needed. Think of how you feel walking through the woodlands after a downpour. Either way it is quite positive in its outlook, but in order to fully appreciate what is possible, something needs to be done or encouraged.

*reversed*
This can show you are putting the dampeners on something unfairly or unnecessarily. Why the gloom and downpour? If you are doing this to somebody else, what is the motive or reason? Encouragement should be given, not raining on someone's parade.

The Rain (Seven of Spades [Swords])

Upright: An unwise attempt, unreliability, betrayal, insolence, spying, possible failure. Misfortunate occurrences can also be thought of as lessons that will strengthen your character.

Meanings inspired from the anime

The Rain card is another mischievous creature who likes to prank people to have fun. She symbolize exuberant emotions.
She caused the Wood card to overgrow into a large tree inside Sakura's house, which could add to the meaning of "overflowing life" (exaggerated, going overboard, etc).

The Rain is under the power of the Watery, the Moon and is related to Eastern magic.
