Lo Scarabeo Tarot of Butterflies?

Ilithiya

RiccardoLS, can you help with this maybe?

I noticed this Tarot of Butterflies (isbn 0738704628) in the Amazon database about a year ago (or more, don't remember) and had been wondering what it was about - might it have been a standard playing card deck that was wrongly entered, or was it an actual Tarot deck that was cancelled for some reason? I haven't seen it (so far) on either Alidastore or the Lo Scarabeo sites.

Thanks for any info...

It's in my Lo Scarabeo 2005 catalog.
It is a playing card deck.
Code PC 27
54 cards 58x88 mm

It says:
The illustrations of this deck are taken from the famous "Dictionnaire Universal d' Histoire Naturelle", published in Paris in 1849.
Created by Chares d' Orbigny, the dictionary gives life to a facinating gallery dedicated to the beauty, color and perfection of butterflies.

It was supposed to be out in February of 2005.
My catalog gives no prices.
They also have one about sea shells and birds...both supposedly coming in Feb. of 2005.

Hi,

it could be the PCC card deck (here a link):
http://www.loscarabeo.com/catalogo2004/Catalogo_UK/PlayingCards/PC27_farfa.htm

Or it could have been some reference for the Tarot of the Secret Forest (it had briefly a working title as Tarot of Butterflies).
But as it is not LS, but our distributor to place things on Amazon (Llewellyn for amazon.com), I really don't know.

Anyway, no Tarot of Butterfly published or in schedule.

Best,

Riccardo
