baconwaffles, you do the reading using this spread (or any other one with at least 3 cards) for your partner, and your partner does a reading for you in return. Then you exchange feedback on the readings you received, i.e. you write what events of your life/personality were reflected in your partner's interpretations. Hope this is clear now. :)
