Even activity that the computer deems "suspicious" requires a manager to sign off on it and a whole new account is really put through a lot of rigorous inspection these days... (This is of course behind the scenes, unless of course there's a hit on the OFAC database.)

But, give me time -- I'll get there
Yeah, I was working in the bank when 9/11 happened. I know about all the checks and warning bells. We had lots of those customers who liked to bring in just under 10 grand in cash as well, so we didn't have to report it to the IRS. Boy were they PO'd when the laws changed on that.

Most banks have people who are tellers only and New accounts only etc... We were very different because we trained for everything, and had excellent training classes we sent everyone to in the Bay area. The great thing was that when anyone left, they were very easily hired at other financial institutions because of the extensive training and experience they had.

The more you get trained to do, the better your resume will be for the future if necessary. I have no doubt that you'll stand out and get promoted to more responsibility. The turn over is pretty high, so you'll be a senior staffer before you know it. (at least that's how it worked back in my day, lol!)

We can use mine. They'll scare her off for sure. They will probably knock her down and eat her lunch.

Tee hee. The only thing thats kept me resisting is that I'm purchasing lots of jewelry lately. And I caved and got the Under the Roses when it was first released.

Same for Dia De Los Muertos.

And Twilight.

Dang. I shop too much.

No, no kitty. It's a small dog's bed, and she wasn't in it at the time, lol!

OK that's good!

Em, I finally saw the jewelry pics. Where do you put those things? I'm a bit ignorant about that sort of stuff.

The bright and stripey ones are for my ear lobes. The bone pincher is for my nasal septum.

I'm just sitting down to open my Wild Unknown package

I have a bunch of tarot decks I still want, so I'm going to be able to resist the Lenormand epidemic. I might have caved for the Revolution one, but it's sold out.
