Hi all,
I'm new to this forum though not altogether to Thoth
Tarot.I carry the Thoth for 25 years and love
it.Followed your excellent forum for six months.
I have a question about the sequence of the cards.
Crowley writes in his Book of Lies chptr.78 of the
wheel of Taro:
'Meditate long and broad and deep, O man, upon this
Wheel, revolving it in thy mind! Be this thy task, to
see how each card springs necessarily from each other
card, even in due order from The Fool unto The Ten of
Coins'.
He gave this practice to his pupils to treat the
sequence of the cards as cause and effect; thence to
discover the cause behind all causes.
But what is the true sequence? From O until XXI is
obvious, but what next? aceW,2W---10W,KnW,QW,PrW,PrsW
then aceC, etc?
Or aceW, KnW,QW,PrW,PrsW,2W---10W then aceC, etc?
