X WHEEL of FORTUNE Typhon & Hermanubis :Which their meaning?

ArcanoMáximo

I already got the "enigmatic" meaning of the Sphinx.
But what about the others two beings around the Wheel, the serpent Typhon and the Hermanubis?

About the Hermanubis i know he's a syncretic deity combining the Greek Hermes and the Egyptian Anubis, but what may this mean?
Is he THE GRIM, the spectral dog that flogs the cemeteries?
Does the Tarot accept the existence of the Werewolf or Lycanthropy?
Is this really Typhon, the Hydra's father?

Hola ArcanoMáximo ~here are a few notes
from and interesting website:

Sphinx - the principle of equilibrium, stability within movement,
mystery and hidden knowledge.

Anubis - the symbol of intelligence ever aspiring to ascend.

Typhon - the god of evil, seen descending the wheel into
darkness and disintegration.

Interesting observations from Duana:

History of Werewolves: The belief that human beings could transform themselves into wolves began back in our pagan history. Almost every culture at one time supported this myth, and early tribes who worshiped some form of a wolf-god would wear wolf-skins and use wolf-fangs as amulets, believing that they had the power to transform into these predatory, nocturnal creatures. Gaulish "Lupa" had many followers from ancient to medieval France and was worshipped as the goddess of animals.

Lycanthropy: Wolves and their human-wolf counterparts—werewolves—have always had a strong association with the full moon. Wolves, coyotes and their close relatives the dog, often howl at a full moon. But, did werewolves ever really exist?

REALLY INTERESTING FULGOUR!!!!!
Cause thinking a little more, when a man becomes a werewolf is changing his nature(change, transformation, new circumstances) and he/she has no many power to fight against te power of the Moon, the only thing that he/she can do is try the adaptation to the new form, way of life, at least during the transformation, and adaptation is evolution (like in the X-Men movie, i remember "Wolverine" and "Jean Grey" becoming "Phoenix"LOL!!!)...
After all...there aren't all this things related with the traditional meanings of the Wheel of Fortune card?
hmmm...
very interesting!

ArcanoMáximo

perhaps was always there the key to resolve the ecuation of the
DNA molecule? hmmm...
i feel there is something really big here...

In a world where what is probable is possible,
then easily too, what is possible is probable...

In other words, if something (however bizarre
or far-fetched) is even remotely imaginable ~
then why not just say it: anything can happen.

I woke up one day and realized that very often
my imagination simply stopped when I thought
of something that seemed too weird to be true.

But what do we really know about the Universe?
So I've decided... "reality" is the true Unknown.

*

Horatio: Oh day and night, but this is wondrous strange!

Hamlet: And therefore, as a stranger, give it welcome.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

i agree, cause what is in the "imagination"
is at least at one place of the Universe:OUR "IMAGINATION"!

Or our "Imagination" isn't real at all?
After all, can there be something "not real"?
Yes, this is "Philosophy" !!!

Three Wheels within the Wheel

Crowley describes the Wheel of Fortune:

The 3 wheels, one within the other -
• the inner is the creative force. - Does this suggest the creative force that comes from out side our selves?

• the middle is formative power. Does this suggest transformation by growth and development?

•the outer is the material world. Does this suggest what we have manifested into this world?

How would this relate in a reading?

If this is someone's Birth Card how would it relate to his/her personality?

HELP!

I am so happy to have found this study group as I have lots of question and it appears we a very bright and educated group learning from each other and I can certainly use the help. I am working on Birth Cards and I run into all kinds of things that I am trying to figure out. It is going to take me some time to read all the post and I hope I am not duplicating something that has already been discussed. Please excuse me if I have.

Good basic look at the symbols, but what as a whole group are they trying to say about human evolution? Where are we all going : up, down or round and round?
