Deviant Moon - Nine of Wands


This card differs from the RWS with emphasis on rest and recuperation mid-challenge, a short stop before the final furlong. It gives hope to the querent, hope to continue with the struggle and finish it off. From the LWB:

Eight wands mark the path to a possible exit. A ninth wand ignites his resolve to not give up.

The meaning is quite close to that of the Seven of Wands:

A bewildered child has been lost in the thicket for several days. Against overwhelming odds, she finally discovers a path that will lead her home. Seven blooming wands mark the end of her ordeal.
