Death as an Occupation/Career do you agree?

Juriana

Careers in the Army. Tax man, career advisor, funeral director, financial advisor, insurance broker, drug abuse counselor. Careers involving other’s resources.

I actually pulled cards asking what is my career? (known answer)

Financial Analyst-was like wow so literal, Death/Regeneration and 8th house astrologically dealing with other resources.

Though, I always thought the Pentacles was more like the Banker/Financial career person.

What is your take on Death Tarot- Occupations/Careers ?

I'd have suggested something in a constant state of flux, such as a freelance contractor. The location is always different, each job (contract) is different, there is very little to no routine...
Or a performer - also a freelance profession - as the show is different every night.

I don't know the correct title, but I thought of a corporate trouble shooter. The ones that go into a company and advise who to fire and who to keep.

Lets go for obivous!

Assasin, soldier, doctor, excutioner, to he who does the firing

nnaid

Working in hospice. Funeral director. A counselor or therapist.

Hey!

I got this when asking about which career would suit me.

I totally agree that the death card applies for Scorpio energy (death, regeneration and analysis)

So if you are considering a career in finances, the analytic properties of this card might apply well. I usually associate more Scorpio with the analysis of the mind but it makes sens in your context

By the way I want to go in medicine and I got this card ;)

I will be funny..death as job is someone who takes your money and make you feel like you wanna die(tax collector) :))

It could be also those paid assassins...or the people that take in charge with funerals...
Someone mentioned doctors and make up artists..aren't those suppose to be in the magician cathegory? or king of swords?
I mean i need to understand how these careers can have something in common with death...unless i'm killing someone while i'm putting them the make up on

Death is nothing more than a point of demarcation for change. That, to my thinking, is the most "simplistic" understanding of death. Example: I give you money; hence, financial death. But we are dealing with the essence of transformative power. So the follow through would be: I give you money (death of currency), and you bring me back a three finger phat sack of weed....er...uhhh....uhhhhh...cut the scene! CUT THE SCENE!! Sorry, folks..Freudian slip. What I meant to say was....you diligently (and legally) come back with my...groceries (result of transformation). So you see, potential power activated through death. To make a long story short, I say an Estate Attorney. Hehe.
