I've been to a place once where fire burn on golden leaves,
And when the sun sets upon the distant shores; sapphire lakes seem to glow with frosted fire.
I didn't stay long because I felt the calling of the wind in my bones,
But I remember this land where fire was like a kiss upon my brow.

I just found this thread.
What a trip. And I don't mean "trip", in the old spacey way. I mean it's been an hour long emotional and mental trip getting completely sucked in to each one of these images.
I am not a collector of "darker" decks. I'm not built that way, I guess.
But these images are so powerful. And they all felt like places I've been.
I don't speak as eloquently as you do - you words really do match the pictures. And I don't speak as poetically as other posters, whose words I've also enjoyed reading here. But I can only say as sincerely as I can how much I feel these images and am thankful that you decided to share them here with us.

I'd have preferred you'd made him older, but it doesn't mean I'm any less impressed.

As for the eyes on the Queen, I have the Sacred Rose Tarot as one of my favourite decks and they have weird eyes too.
