we should write the BBC a letter or something to see if they can produce and sell a version of that grubby Marseille deck, don't you think? I know moi wants one.

A good idea that, how should we go about it do you think?

It seems I'm not the only person to think the XII is the right way around if the card is reversed :D It's not additive at all. (And logically why would it be additive if the rest of the majors are done with the usual system!)

It is a good example of how historical research can affect interpretation. With regard to that particular hanged man, Rosanne pointed out, in an old Vieville thread, that those wing-like fingers are so oddly positioned because both his arms were broken and bound behind his back when he was tortured and hung to die, as was common at the time.
