Tarot of the Saints, is it out of print?

I got this deck years ago, probably 2004. I just looked it up on Amazon and it's selling for $100 used, $337 new. Llewellyn doesn't show it when I search the site. Is the deck now out of print?

Llewellyn may never have carried it, but it isn't on Robert Place's site either.
It may indeed be out of print but I'm also positive there are many copies sitting around on small sites, unloved.

So out of print but not out of reach. I hated it myself and used it for an altered deck project. And then pitched it.

I just checked Ebay completed listing and there have been four or five recently, selling in the $40.00 range.

Tarot of the Saints was printed in 2001 by Llwelleyn. It wasn't printed again
as far as I know. It would have been marked 'out of print' in 2002 since
they weren't printing more copies. Most decks are printed once and then
they are out of print. I think it's more of a printing trade term than a
secondary market term. Printers view it 'out of print' since it's not
currently being printed or 'in print'. I think they take the item off the
site when they have no more copies. I wish they would have a spot on
their site of decks they printed but are sold out. Would be a great resource.

How long they take to sell out on the publisher's website is another story.
The deck is "Sold Out" when no copies are available at issue price from
the publisher. You might still find some on shelves or at on line websites
though. After that they are only available on the secondary market.
Of course then you get sellers with their own terms, hhahahaha,
like "haunted', 'possessed', etc.

The Deviant Moon is one example of a deck still in print. I think that
has been printed 4 or 5 times now. As long as it sells, they will probably
keep printing it. It's really popular!

The Tarot of the Saints is selling for about $75 and slightly more depending
on where you look. You can't estimate value based on what someone is asking
for a deck as they can ask whatever they want like you see on Amazon.
I think some of those sellers want to inflate the value so the ask ridiculous
prices, hoping someone will think they found a really rare deck.

The best way is to estimate value is to see what they actually have sold for.
It sold for $150 (deck shrink wrapped) $75, $47 and $40 with the average
being around $75.

Thank you, Karen. That was helpful, as I want to sell mine (never used, mint condition, with box and book) and need a realistic idea of how much it could go for.

Ship of Fools, on the other hand, I'd be lucky to sell for $5. Yeesh.
