uh - found a TdM deck today...have a question...

Thanks for the info, Abrac! :love: I was going through that old thread and I see that Coredil's example #3 is the set I have. The backs have no frame. And is exactly as Coredil describes. I wish the box had come with it, however! :) In the middle of the 4 Pents is a tulip, not a fleur de lys. So that was an interesting detail, too. As I know so little, really, about the history of the TdM, these details are all fascinating - and yes, I surely appreciate that I paid so little for such a brilliant old deck! Cause let's face it, it IS over 40 years old... ;) It's in better shape than me for its age :laugh:

Yeah the decks hold up a lot better than boxes. A lot of them don't survive because they're made of such flimsy paperboard, not nearly sturdy enough for such a heavy deck. :laugh:
