ETA: a stone wholesaler told me they'd dissolve. I think she was confusing them with Himalayan rock salt, which *will* dissolve.
She is right, they will most definitely dissolve. But over time. And not via a steamy bathroom. You can run it under water and dry it off and it's fine, but it shouldnt be left to soak in will crumble to me, I speak from experience.
