I have very small hands and prefer decks that are mini or playing card sized but I don't choose a deck based on that.

I prefer the mini's always with Lenormand, no regular size, take too much space.
Also I do not need details for Lenormand. Anyway, I use decks with simple and obvious images you can see right away also in mini size.

The good thing about mini-decks is that the Grand Tableau is easier to fit onto a table for me. Another thing I like about them is that they are easier to handle, not only shuffling but putting back into order after a reading.

The personal lenormand I'm making is a bit smaller than bridge/poker size though not the standard mini size which I believe is half of a poker size card if I remember correctly. My cards ended up being 3" x 2.25" simply because I took a 9x12 sheet of watercolor and divided it up and that is what I was left with. I am finding though that I really LOVE that size - not too small and not too big, it seems pretty perfect.
