From what I know, which is not a whole lot:
Lenormand only has the 36 cards, the gypsy witch has 52.
The gypsy does incorporate the Lenormand 36 into that 52 but I don't think the card correspondences (ie the jack of hearts) is the same for those 36.

I have the Gypsy Witch, and it's basically how Sinduction explained it. I consider the Gypsy Witch and the Lenormand cards two completely different systems. They share the same cards but the meanings are completely different.
To me, the Gypsy Witch isn't as much of a downer as the Lucky Mojo site says. I keep getting all of the good cards most of the time!
