I just made a beautiful scrying mirror for myself today. I have zero experience scrying, I don't know what book to get, and from what I'm hearing scrying is one of the hardest forms of divination (and scrying with a mirror is one of the hardest methods of scrying). It sounds like if you don't go into learning it with the right attitude or expectations, you'll frustrate yourself.
But what about learning scrying and another method of divination at once? Challenging as that sounds, I think, like... studying Tarot, I think many people would agree it's important to meditate over each and every card meaning in order to intimately know each card. And I think staring and zoning out with a scrying mirror would be a great way to meditate over such a thing, while ALSO getting you comfortable reading and seeing through a mirror.
Any thoughts on this? Has anyone ever tried this? 'Cause I'm gonna do it. I'll likely do it when I want to learn my rune set as well.
