King of Swords as love

Hi guys, in a spread I did recently, I got the King of Swords as what to expect in love department for December, but what does it mean?

I already got this card for the same question, but for a different month (probably in Summer), but nothing new or great happened. I thought it pointed to a man with a King of Swords personality, so an intelligent person, reserved, with a brilliant mind etc but I got to know none like him.

Anyway I think this King points to no new boyfriend in sight for December, but to the need to be more like this King or to look for a man with whom I can feel connected intellectually and spiritually too, that is physical appearance is not it all.. Anyway I didn't understand this card.

What's your experience in love department with the King of Swords?

This card is not romantic, so probably nothing romantic.
Simply mental, you might be asking the same question in December for January too.
I don't see other cards to support that there's romance.

Thanks Pami, I agree with you, I don't see nothing romantic in this card.

As a person, the King of Swords has real problems expressing their emotions and real feelings. They can be romantic but they would never show it in public or do a big romantic gesture but all humans have the ability of loving, just it's hard to get it out of this King. They would probably tell you all about dinosaurs and random facts about the universe. If someone is talking to you a lot and making conversation (discussing politics, science, etc) they could be fond of you!

As a general situation about love for December, you need to be objective. Look at the evidence, do you have any chance of love at the moment, is there anyone you are close to currently? are you socialising and meeting lots of new people or are you really busy in your life and not doing that? If you are not actively looking for love, then probably it's not going to happen in December but you might make great conversation with someone and hear their thoughts

It may point to what to expect in the love department, rather than to a person. My first thought would be that this card would represent a period of clear-sightedness, when you can see through the deceptions or others (or yourself), whwn you are not drawn to people for physical or emotional reasons, but when you really won't worm a love connection unless you take some time and trouble to get so know someone's MIND, and mov e towards an involvement with someone only if it is a meeting of MINDS (Swords being pure thought), and only if both they and you are being intellectually mature about it all.

It's probably time to work on yourself, in that context.

Hi danieljuk, thanks! I see the King of Swords in this context in the same way, he finds it hard to express his emotions, but that doesn't mean he hasn't any.

Actually you're right, I'm not actively looking for love, that is I'm not meeting that lots of new people at the moment, I'm too busy in general. So yes, this King really fits for my present situation

It's also true I'm having great conversations though

Hi nisaba, thanks! Your explaination makes sense for me, unfortunately this is what happened with the last guy I fell in love with. There was no meeting of minds, he wasn't a mature person, so I would say the King of Swords fits here, emotions and physical appearance are not enough of course, people can easily trick you, so yes, before starting anything I must get to REALLY know them.

King of Swords is a bachelor, so I would say that you will stay a bachelorette.

On a more positive side, if you want to take your own love life by the reigns, the King of Swords could be advising you to get online and try some online dating. There will be a meeting of the minds first, and physical attraction if/once you meet.

Yeah, this card could be an advice instead and referring to online dating. Anyway surely a meeting of the minds first, this is the basis.
