Lovers rx + Moon = sex crazed?

I think the cards warn that this isn't a healthy man to be having a future with. He's got some definite psychological issues and isn't ready for romantic relationships right now.

Is it possible that he just set that whole thing up so he could be the one to get the last word? He wanted to feel like he dumped her, not the opposite?

I'd say this is wildly context-specific. My first impression is that it might signify the need to make a choice which one felt singularly unprepared to make - being "in the dark" as it were about how to choose and that causing anxiety of being actually afraid of choosing incorrectly due to a lack of information.
Which, while that could explain a love triangle and the fear of a partner "choosing" the wrong one, could also describe other scenarios as well.
