Advice please: spread for Best Course of Action?

Hello.
I am very new at Tarot and also at forums, so please have patience with me when I show my ignorance.

I have a very sticky situation that I don't know how to handle. I have attempted to insert a link to my original post which briefly explains the situation (if you need further info). Otherwise, my question as it relates to tarot spreads is this:

What is a good spread to use for determining the best course of action for a given situation?

You might find something that works there. And you can always modify any spread to suit your questions better.

Thank you, Hemera. I had not seen the index. Thank you for showing that to me. I did take a look through the spreads in general before posting though. As I looked at them, I noticed that many are spreads that individuals are trying out for the first time. I was looking for something that is tried-and-true since I am such a newbie. I will keep looking.
