Step SEVEN, Shadowscapes tarot

This step took me too long since I had to wait for my copy of the book to arrive but it's finally here: :)

- A need to explore your potential

- Exploring and discovering new aspects of self
- Learning to live life on your own terms
- A need to be free from rigid ideas or identity/roles that you've outgrown
- Being on the verge of a breakthrough

Most true would be adopting an inquisitive approach to life. For me personally, it would being suspending prior judgements, and learning to live life on my own terms. As far as my life right now, I'm trying to be more open minded and reevaluating some assumptions I have about how the world works. Also, I'm learning new things and feeling a drive to explore my potential.

Finally I feel ready (enough) for this step.
I felt I had to go through the meanings of the four elements on my own, and I have found 28 "quadruplets" (if that's even a word..) to describe the elements also in relation to each other.
They are posted in the Golden Dawn thread if anyone is interested, I would love to hear comments about them..
By the way, lets get down to work..

Princess of Disks
MODE: COURT: Attitudes
SUIT/ELEMENT: EARTH --> Manifestation, Stabilizing, Foundations
RANK: PRINCESS --> Catalyst, Receptive, Developer

Inspirations coming from the irrational part of our psyche

PART II

MODE: MAJOR --> A life lesson, an universal law/energy
SUIT/ELEMENT: EARTH --> Manifestation, creativity, fertility,
RANK/NUMBER: THREE --> result, development, fulfillment

All together:
Manifestation of results of an universal law.
Fullfillment of own's fertility as life lesson
Development of creativity as expression of universal energy
Also
Our fertility (not only phisical) develops universal energies and brings them forward, to the next level.
Manifestation is the result of the universal laws
A life lesson comes with a sense of fulfillment and activates our creativity

To me, in this period the most fitting is the last one: I am at the end of a cycle/beginning oc the next and I am looking at what I have learnt, what I want to bring with me, and what doesn't serve me well anymore, and therefore need shed.
My creativity (I am back at drawing and embroidery) because I feel the need to create, to bring tk manifestation a token, a symbol of what i have learnt so hard... never to forget what it took to get it.
They are very personal, on one hand, but in the other the archetypes of the Tarot lend themselves so well to the purpose...
Fascinating.

PART 3
Aww... No easy this one.. not at all...
My story was about the dreamy atmosphere, and the istinct of both beings to make the eggs hitch..
Not so easy to connect with mode, rank and element meanings but...
The number 3 is very much about the merging of two into one third thing.. so, since the eggs are the energies of the Creation, we can see the instinct to be together, despite the risks that each one sees in the other, can be related to fhe instinct of 1 to go about and act and the instinct of 2 to accept, incorporate and give form.
The element of Earth is also connected to manifestation, and how that already includes the very first seed for the next phase.. i connect this with the rotating eye effect that the card gave me (and my dog).
And all this is no doubt a very deep and clear life lesson.
I very much wish this is enough because this step brought me very deep and now I have to get to the bottom of some studies it prompted.. but i'll keep going through the next steps.

Part 1: Synthesize keywords into an integrative statement for each of these cards, using number or rank, suit, element and mode

Rank: 10. Consumation, result, extremes.

All together:
- Sudden change of a situation.

Part 2: Now do the same for your chosen card. Try as many different combinations as possible. Which of these statements feels most true? How does it relate to your life right now?

My card is the King of Wands from Ceccoli tarot.

Mode: Court card. Attitude or personalities.
Suit/Element: Wands/Air. Energy, taking action, risk, strategy, thoughts.
Rank: King. Mastery, ambition, courage.

All together:

- Ambition will guide the way to mastery.
- Acting according to a plan and make it happen.

All these statements feel true.

... and all of this could probably do with anger management :D easily frustrated, bad temper, impatience. At work, I find it difficult to delegate tasks because I tend to think that I am far more capable of dealing with specific problems than anybody else. Doing so makes me feel exhausted, tired and singled out.
