Bestian Tarot

Aestheteka

Here goes....
In the next few days, the Bestian Tarot will be completed, edited and then sent to the printer for a test run. I have wished on so many occasions to do as others have on here (well, in the archives) - showcase the Tarot throughout its long journey toward completion - but having read the inumerable warnings and cases of piracy and forgery have restrained myself until now. It really has been a worry.
The deck is 78 cards and is based on the Bestian Order of Aestheteka's occult philosophies. The artist is ErisX (http://www.eris-x.com) - in my opinion the new Austin Spare. The ideology is based on my books Sophia Bestiae and Grimoire Bestiae, along with the collective input of the various Aestheteka groups and my own personal perspective on various fields in which the Tarot permits us insight.
The project has taken quite some months (even harder as it was secret to all) and is now at the stage where we would like it to spread its wings. However, aside from my friends and colleagues within Aestheteka, my location is a problem. I live in Eastern Slovakia (I have a Hellfire Club here). How would I go about promoting and distributing my pack internationally? The US-based publisher of my novels and non-fiction books (Crystal Dreams Publishing) does not deal in Tarot and as this really is my (and ErisX's) baby, I would like to keep as much control over it as possible. I do intend to sell it via my website (www.aestheteka.com) but a wider-reaching and Tarot-oriented seller would be much more logical in the long run.
Your advice, comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.
Here are a few sample cards from the deck:

Wish you great success, they're beautiful

I saw the cards you've created and they're absolutely beautiful. I'm sure they'll sell like hot cakes. Just hang in there, distributors will be lining up in no time. :)

Peace to you always,

Ash

thank you for both the reply and the words of encouragement, sacredashes.
ErisX is the one to be praised for the beauty of the cards - I'm just the creator of the ideology. Even Crowley wasn't lucky enough to have an artist who was expereinced in hermetic sigils, so I'm doubly blessed on that one.

We are now dealing with the printer so hopefully soon I'll recieve the first prototype deck. I can't even begin to describe how eager I am to actually feel it in my hands. Very exciting feeling.

Bestian tarot

The prototype deck arrived and I've been spending time doing readings and writing the guide to go with it.
what can I say? it works. it works very well indeed.
I was just doing simple readings about people I know - both without them and with them - and it's spot on. In fact it even gave me a little surprise. I was doing a simple cross reading for a male friend and the cards laid fit his situation precisely - absolutely perfect - but there was one in his near future that didn't fit and i began to worry that the cards were bad. Quite an embarrassing moment as it was the Princess of Bones and she didn't fit either his girlfriend or his lover. i really thought that I'd messed up in designing the pack - especially as the following card was Caution.
I was stumped and i had to tell him honestly that i didn't understand it as I knew it wasn't either of his two love interests. He turned out to be remarkably impressed with the cards because earlier today he had begun a new liaison with a member of the fairer sex who fit quite nicely with the Lady Godiva-esque Princess of Bones. Because of the Caution card attached to it he asked me to draw another as he does worry about losing his girlfriend, who he is very fond of (the card reflecting his principle concerns was The Lovers, predictably enough). The single card drawn was Temptation.... I left it at that and suggested he digest the Caution and Temptation cards in connection to his new found friend. I myself was greatly relieved that the cards work.

Does anyone have any suggestions for distributors or publishers to approach with a complete and printed deck? I'd really appreciate any help you might give. Please bear in mind that the deck is dark and LHP (Luciferian Gnostic) so it might not fit all tastes....

I've updated my website to show more of the deck and the reasoning behind the cards:

WARNING - for those easily offended, please do not view the rest of the site. It is not my intention to promote the ideas shown on the site, merely to present the Bestian Tarot. I have no wish to enter into moralistic or theological debate. I am here for Tarot only.

Whew! Quite an accomplishment! Not my way, but the way of many others, and I think you'll find an audience for sure.
