Legend Arthurian book

Don't forget Malory! Not for the faint of heart, but there are nice abridgments out there.

Robert Nye wrote a splendidly raunchy take on Merlin, which makes for interesting reading. Though imagine my surprise when I purchased the book at age 13 after having just finished Once and Future King.

I love the deck too, and I knew I'd need a specific book for it because every author's take on this material is different. I never worked very much with it before because I was holding out for the information that I now have. :)

PM being sent your way. I have an extra copy of the book.

If you're looking for something to read quickly, I would recommend Women of Camelot by Mary Hoffman (http://www.amazon.com/Women-Camelot...d=1394974773&sr=1-4&keywords=women+of+camelot).

As you might guess, it's mainly focused on ladies, but you'll read about their relationships with Lancelot, Gawain, Uther, and Merlin. It's aimed at older children, but adults can still enjoy it. I'd suggest it for people who don't want to make the big commitment to reading Mists of Avalon.
