need spread for possible criminal activity

JennyM

Don't worry, I don't want to commit a crime. I think someone I know is being victimized...possibly...and I want to see if I can find out what's going on as he won't tell me.

Thank you. I'll try one of these.

I made this one up for you, I call it: The Detective Spread

------------------------------
---1---2---3---4---5---6-----
------------------------------
-----------3-------5---6------
----------------4-------------
-------------------5---6------

its in the shape of a gun :p

1) Time of the crime: Cups=Morning; Pentacles=Day; Swords=Afternoon; Wands=Evening
you can divide these up into 6 hours for each suit accordingly.

2) Place of the crime: description of the area where the crime took place, or will take place, courts can indicate someone's house or residence.

3) Motive of the crime taken place:
3a) card on top: what the criminal gains out of the crime, and any benefit or motive to gain for themselves
3b) bottom card: any ill intent or motive of the criminal against the vitim

4) The Crime
4a) top: The action taken for the crime (e.g. murder, robbery)
4b) bottom: the method used (e.g. knife stab, shooting, manipulation)

5) The Victim
5a) top: the victim themselves - description/significator
5b) middle: the actions of the victim that led to the crime
5c) bottom: the outcome of the crime

6) The Perpetrator:
These three cards give a description of the criminal, match up the attributes of the cards to single out the person mentioned.
May also be used or extended to decide between many different suspects.

This can be applied to the past or the future if you suspect a crime is going to happen...
Its also adaptable for lots of different situations, so I hope this helps.

also, if you like, you can add in an 'evidence overlooked' card as the sort of latch or the trigger, if you're looking to find incriminating evidence for a case... wonder if this is useful to anyone... maybe I could put it on its own thread?

Writing Uses

You know....

The detective and Nancy Drew spreads could help someone that is writing a Mystery too!

Both are well done and in my Notebook.
