Mystical Cats Tarot - Five of Fire (Wands)

Onaorkal

5 tabby kittens seem to be fighting in a playful manner. 3 are orange and 2 are grey.
We can guess they are located outdoors from the presence of tall grass surrounding them.
A lotus-shaped fire torch with flames at each of its 5 points can be seen in the back. It seems to be attached to a wall which appears to be brown in this lighting.

Colors : Very warm but dark ; a lot of brown.

At first glance, this card seems to have aggressive connotations and could be interpreted fairly negatively. But upon closer examination, one might realize a few things. First of all, these are kittens and kittens rarely fight about matters of life and death. They do it for fun, to use up their excess energy and most importantly, as practice for eventual real fights.
Also, someone who knows feline body language well enough will see that they are not in a bad mood or even nervous at all. Their hair is not ruffled or spiked on their back and they are not going all out with their claws and teeth.
In other words, this card is about friendly competition and how it's ''[t]he best way to learn new skills […]''.

Symbolism :

Kittens : Symbolize immaturity and impulsivity.

Number 5 (kittens, lotus petals, flames) : Associated with challenges, struggles and the growth and learning resulting from it.

Lotus flower : The lotus needs muddy water to grow, like those kittens need to compete a little to become strong, like people need challenges to grow on all levels.

Fire torch : Like candles, it's a symbol of inner light and force.

Fire/flames : Symbol of energy, power, passion, action and creativity.
