What spread do I need???

I keep having dreams with a certain person in them, who I used to love dearly and considered my soul mate.
7 years on and he still arrives in my dreams!
To be honest, I am not sure if it is my dreams or on the astral plane???
We are on opposite sides of the world and I have no idea what he is upto.
I would like an idea of a spread to find out what he is doing in my dream, what if anything he represents? I am normally ok when it comes to my dreams, but this harder to work out.

If it were me, I might just try a Celtic Cross reading for myself if I thought that this was something which needed a deep look. I would just fix the question, as well as the dream, in my mind while shuffling/dealing. Another thought is just a 5-card P-P-F spread to look at what things might be going on.

Then again... you can try making your own spread to answer the specific questions you have.

Perhaps the story will just flow to you from the cards. Ask this person and the tarot guides to open the door and see what walks through.....
