Petrified wood?

jolie_amethyst: I bet that stone did stay for you. Stones are quite aware of who is around them, if they are paying attention. It likes you. It might be easy to move, in that case. No matter how many times I experience something like this, I am always surprised, amazed and delighted.

You Lucky thing!! I love petrified would. Pieces have always been too expensive for me though so I settled for a tiny slice of petrified oak. A work colleague has a half metre length log in her home that she uses as a side table.
Where I grew up - it doesn't come lying about like that. And not where I live now either.

Well yes since the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest are in Arizona USA and the difference in climatic conditions between there and the UK i doubt it would be there much. As i said before if you ever get the chance to visit there i suggest it greatly.
