Has anyone ever done a "Karma reading"?

Hi!

I've promised a friend I'd do a Karma-reading for her, a reading on the Karmic background to a rather intricate pattern of synchronicities that keep appearing in her life. Does anyone have experience of readings like this? I'm just curious and would like some inspirational stories, if we have any around...?

Also, I keep thinking back and forth about what kind of spread I would use, few cards, many cards, 78 cards or just the Majors...

I don't always use any "spread" at all...
but I love trying the new ones that come w/ a deck...

I have donea few or the Karma readings- and yes
people always
requested them.
In my experience the deck matters a LOT. But that is me...picky
and anal and finicky. I used only Thoth for this...

And there are many Karma cards (never worked for
me, got two differnt types of these as gifts and -ouch- may
have actually thrown them out...the ones w/phrases to be
matched up like the "read it and say it" flash cards? for 6 yr olds)

I think I know what my own issues were on this..but I
wonder what your approach is. I had to get past the idea that
the "past life details" were
the point.

I think everyone needs to study more
about karma...it is one of the strongest forces
in the universe and DOES come back on you threefold or 3000 fold.

Only a blind suggestion w/out more details from you: Read
the person's Karma the minute you lay eyes on them next
(hey- that just solved another problem I'd shoved in a corner...)
if they hit you with any strong vibration at all...assuming
you don't know too many distracting "facts" on them...go with it.

Karma readings are pretty serious stuff to me,
I have never wanted to lean on the cards for
myself in that area... Many books have great spreads for this

It's in the "General" section, "Konraad's Past Life Spread pt. 1". Thirteen was so kind to post this as a kind "add-on" for the past life spread by Konraad. you can do this Karma spread after a past life and to look what you were supposed to learn in this past life.

I did a 'Sou Purpose' reading for Tarotphelia a while back, and I used a spread from Llewellyn's 2001 Trot Calender, which I found very useful.

This spread aims to take the past life soul purpose, and make sure we understand what our main soul purpos was then, and what we learned from it, then tells us what our present soul purpose is...

Hi guys!

Thanks for your responses! I'm still not sure what to do with this reading, but the way things are turning out, it seems this will be my very first "live" reading. (Yikes!!! ) So I figure I will just let it be a home made spread based on what she specifically wants insight in. I've made up spreads before I'm sure I can do this one too.

Thanks also for the past-lives-spreads, I'm not sure a past life is what we're looking for here, its rather a glimpse of the Karmic situation here and now. Anyway, I'm sure I will have loads of use of the past-lives spreads at some point!
