I followed the other thread's example, this time I used the TdM. The first card was the Devil, then came the High Priestess, the next was the Empress, and then came the Moon.

I hope the Pirates follow the Thoth's path though I cannot imagine what da Beast would say to them.

i liked both methods enough, and felt they complemented one another well enough, that I've amalgamated them. I used Fliz's types of reader, my card correspondences as noted above, and the "piles" method from Amanda's method.

My first pile, of 33 cards (!), brought me to...the Star. Somewhat unsurprising, as I'm very strongly intuitive when I read - I just use systems quite faithfully to give my intuition something to climb on.

The second pile, of 21 cards, brought me to the Aeon. Ha. My primary system is, of course, Thoth.

Another nine cards, Magician. Pip-style minors being an influence?

Five more cards, and the Hierophant appeared. He looks lonely
