Today I'd like you to forget everything you know about the suits of Air/Swords and Water/Cups.
If you think that Air is a depressing suit, full of fighting and sorrow, that's just because the symbol most artists stick with is a sword. Why shouldn't the 3 and 10 of Air be happy cards?
Why should the 3 of Cups be always happy?
For today's exercise, take out all 10 Air pips, and all 10 Water Pips.
Your challenge is -using the 'tree' shaped cards you saw yesterday-
Create
1) A 'tree' card shaped layout of all the Air pips, which you find energizing, pleasing and uplifting.
2) A 'tree' card shaped layout of all Water Pips, which you find oppressive and depressing.
Using the back and front of the cards, create
3) A selection of arrangements of 3 of Air/Swords, which show how 3 Air cards can show a) happiness b) uplift of energy c) weight of worry from above d) sudden brilliant idea e) freedom
4) A selection of arrangements of 3 of Water/Cups which convey a) loneliness b) bickering c) group hug d) depression e) manipulation
