Anyone have this Tarot boardgame?

Does anyone have THIS?

For my next Tarot meeting we are going to play the game of Tarot, and so I was on Amazon looking for a book on Tarot games (because any excuse to buy a book is a good one) and I came across this boardgame.

Anyone have it? What do you think about it?

I think Mellaenn has seen/played it at her Tarot group?
ETA: I may be remembering the wrong person, but I know someone did . . .

There was a podcast on it on January 10, if you want to check it out:

Thank you LavenderLibra! That was fantastic. Should be interesting.

Thanks everyone for responding, I'll have to let you know how it goes over with the group. I'm hoping it will be a learning experience too and not just a boardgame. We'll see...

I didn't click on the podcast because I don't have time to listen to the whole thing. But did anyone else notice that rather aggressive comment?

There already is a "tarot game" and it's a card game played in countries like France. Tarot cards were originally made for card games of this type and not for divination. Why do tarot readers engage in cultural theft? First they steal the word "tarot" to where most people think it only refers to a divination practice and now they are stealing the term "tarot game"
Wow, over-react much?

I definitely did not hear that part NorthernTigress!
*Goes back to listen*
That is a little extreme I agree. And just petty.

I played this game with some Tarot friends this week and it was a LOT of fun.

Some observations:

Loved having crystals for player tokens

Loved giving out the blessing coins through the game

Because of the format of the game you are very likely to receive mostly majors in your reading and for the most part they will be in chronological order. This isn't a bad thing by any stretch it just seems sliiiiiiiiightly counter to the mutability of Tarot. On the other hand the board just would not look as interesting if the 21 spaces were just labeled "Major Arcana" so that you could pick one at random.

I know some folks wish it came with a better deck (the one included just has keywords) however I just can't imagine many people who don't own a tarot deck would purchase the game in the first place.

The spread for the expert reading is really good. It's six cards based on the phases of the moon.

I have, but never played it. I may use it soon as part of a tarot class follow-up.

I don't have it, but it looks like it would be a fun tool for teaching the tarot.
