Hi! I'd love to play. I just not sure exactly how, so I'm off to read the other thread first. I'll be back!

Ok, I think I've got the gist of it. I'm new to tarot, so this will be good practice even if I botch it up horribly.

By the way, how many guesses do we get?

Here goes:
Using Shadowscapes, I pulled the 10 of Cups and the 8 of Pentacles.

Where: the 10/Cups shows a couple floating in the the depths of the sea, embraced romantically. Several fish swim about them. There is a soft golden light illuminating them.

I get the impression of someplace intimate and peaceful/restful, like a bedroom, or large bathtub, maybe?

What: the 8/Pents shows a spider in the middle of a lovely, sparkling, carefully spun web. A branch with tree spirits or sylphs stretches across the top two corners.

It's seems like it is a common everyday object that you use often. Some that nourishes, intrigues, you in someway. I thinking a book or magazine, something you read? Maybe an ebook reader or electronic tablet?

My goodness, I'm impressed! You're absolutely right - it is located in the bedroom, and it is a book that both intrigues and nourishes me.

Where exactly is it in the bedroom, and what kind of book is it?

(You'll be a tough act to follow, Aivli!)

ETA: you get as many guesses as it takes to figure it out. If it takes more than - let's say 3 days, the original rules said 5 but at that point who's going to keep trying?? - then the host (c'est moi!) picks a winner from among the players. Fair?

Just got on and was about to try myself, then realized Aivli got it right off! AMAZING, Aivli! I'm very impressed.

Not sure how you did it with just 2 cards, but I am impressed!

I know, me too! celticnoodle, do you want to try and figure out where it is in the bedroom, and what kind of book it is, or shall we call Aivli the winner and let her play next?

Aivli wins!

*cupcakes and confetti*

Your turn, Aivli! Pick a something and hide it in a somewhere and let us know when to start looking

ETA: it was a Depression-era cookbook that belonged to my grandmother (hence, nourishes and intrigues me!) and it was in my bedside table drawer

No.Way.

Total beginner's luck, I'm sure. But so cool. This is fun.

Actually, I didn't realize we could use more than two cards. Good to know for future reference.

Thank you both for the kudos!

Hmmm... Ok!

okay. using the Golden Tarot by Kat Black...........

What is the item? The devil.

Well, because the devil is an earthy card related to the zodiac sign of capricorn, I feel this item is something very practical.

What is the item used for? 5 coins. lo and behold, another earthy element card!

okay, so, I'm thinking it must be something like a stone. perhaps a crystal of some kind?

Where is this item hidden?
5 cups.

well, this shows the Pope sitting in his chair in despair, with the golden goblets all around him, 2 turned over, with their liquid falling out and the remaining 3 goblets upright, still holding its liquid. It gives the the idea of a holy room or perhaps the dining room. since it is more common to have a dining room in ones home, I'll go with that.

so, its a stone/crystal and hidden in the dining room. It's interesting that this card also shows an angel in it---all in black. so, it may be around something black or something that is sad. Or perhaps an angel.
