Lets "assemble" your answer.

Moon symbolizes needs, reactions, emotions, habits, rhythms. Saturn symbolizes limits, lessons, conservatism, time. Put the two together and we get defensiveness about ones feelings, apprehensive about what may happen (also called worrying), sensitivity towards discipline. Often, each of this pair (as well as the two together) indicate a problematic childhood in terms of discipline and disappointment, guilt, incomplete development and delayed maturity.

Now, lets look at Mercury conjunct Venus. Mercury is the perceptive process, the organization and use of thought and memory, communication and part of the understanding/knowledge retrieval process. Venus is one's affinity with balance and ease, grace in expressing oneself in terms of body language and surroundings (including dress). Together, these two make for compromise, for artistic expression, for small-group socializing, drama and writing.

When we look at an opposition between these two pairings, we introduce a lot of complexities. We have Moon opposite Mercury (accepting the reasoning process or going with ones emotional response), Moon opposite Venus (awkwardness in social interactions), Saturn opposite Mercury (strong reasoning, argumentative), Saturn opposite Venus (depression, low levels of socialness). While you can mix and match these almost any way you want, my immediate impression is that this person will probably be very social and diplomatic so as to not arouse disagreement or arguement, will try overly hard to be accepted but will also try not to be in the forefront of events so as to avoid criitcism. Its hard to say without looking at a whole chart, but thats the best general answer I can give. Hope it helps. Dave
