I do think the artwork is very dynamic - though the artist does have a thing about leaping animals seen from certain angles - and I think within the genre, it does what it does well. Just not a style that seems to go with the theme for me...

I used it for my daily 4-card (+6) draw today, and I'm finding that I really like the elemental shorthand of the colored borders. They're just neutral enough in tone to not be annoying. Despite its production imperfections, I find that this deck will probably be of use to me once I more fully penetrate the era it's intended to capture.
