Oh, this is classy!!!!

I have to step out of the closet here, admitting that I watched the Eurovision Song Contest religiously as a kid and teenager.

So I absolutely have to bring you... Germany's craziest ever contest entry... from the stylish year of 1979: Dschinghis Khan!

Indeed, that band is real!! Actually, the song didn't do too bad, I think 3rd or 4th place. Back then, everyone had to present in their native language, which was probably lucky, as the song was about the drinking and love-making habits of Genghis Khan.

Ohhhh, My Little Pony would be a true nightmare *shudders*

But Dame Edna is a hoot!
