Herbal Tarot - Knight of Swords - Wild Cherry Bark

You can see the Knight cards here.

Description: A cloaked knight is wearing a helmet and holding a sword over his shoulder. He is traveling through a barren landscape. There is a large branch of wild cherry hanging over him.

Significant Details: The sword symbolizes strength. Cherries symbolize cooling.

Keywords: Direct, Authoritative, Incisive, Knowledgeable, Logical, Blunt, Overbearing, Cutting, Opinionated, Unfeeling

Medicinal Uses: Cherries are diuretic, laxative, and cooling in fevers. Eating too many may cause constipation. Culpeperís Color Herbal.

My Interpretation: This is a time for cool thoughts and actions. Donít rush into things. You may meet someone who is logical and knowledgeable or possibly opinionated and overbearing.

Thoughts/Points to Ponder: The Knight of Swords is the Fiery part of Air. On the Tree of Life the Knights are in the sixth sephira Tephareth, and are ruled by the Sun. Cherries are ruled by Venus.

This knight looks as if he is in the middle of a quest, but he has taken the time to relax and cool off under the cherry tree.
