All right, folks, it must be time to schedule a new one!

Yup. I stand by what I said. Don't miss it!

My attitude to distance, where Tarot meets are concerned:

Quote:
<shrug> It's a mere two hours' travel. Not too far for a cup of coffee and a piece of banana bread.
Quote:
... the girl whose cafe I'm in (the in-house one in my home) came over and asked me how my trip went. So I tried to describe a cafe-table with us all sitting around, and decks everywhere, and a lot of laughter and talking, and us buying coffees and banana-bread out of pity for the owners of the cafe and to compensate them for hosting us ... <grin>
...
If we choose to have another meetup on the Central Coast, perhaps we can have it at her cafe, out over the waters of the lake. Then my WHOLE collection can be present!
So.

I live in the night-manager's flat inside the Beachcomber Hotel, 200 Main Street, Toukley. Getting here is dead-easy: take the Sydney-Newcastle freeway (whatever they're calling it now), and use the Sparks Road Exit. Turn east. Just keep going. The road changes name a few times. The hotel will be on that same road, on your left. Big signs.

Public transport is slightly more difficult: catch a train ln the Central Coast line, get off at Wyong. Line up at the bus rank that lists 79, 80, 81 and 82 routes on its timetable, and catch any of those that are displaying "Lakehaven" on the front of the bus (don't get onto one marked "Tuggerah", it's going the wrong way even though it will be the right route number). As you board, ask the driver "Are you going through to Toukley?" If they say yes, ask them to tell you where to get off for the Beachcomber Hotel - they'll all know it, it's a local landmark. If they say no, either wait for the next one, or go as far as they go (to Lakehaven, the shopping centre), and change onto a 90 or 91 bus, asking the driver to tell you where to get off for the Beachcomber.

And I'll meet you all up on the bistro, where we can commandeer the back decking and hang over the lake, sharing our food, drinks and decks.

So, what day suits everyone?

I'm heading up the north coast from 19-26 or 27 January. After that I have nothing planned for weekends. Happy to show up whenever.

Starburst, give us a date you can manage and we'll see you there. I would certainly like to see you again, we have more talking to do.
I think Suk has already packed her bag.
