Yep, Bingo! Indeed it is the magician, someone who could do anything!!

The game is yours!

<grin> I personally see superheroes of the comic persuasion as more Emperors, because they take command of any situation, but I could see your thinking.

Okay, here we go.

LOL! You are right! I guess we have been playing this game for a while now

Emmmm... My guess is wheel of fortune...

Is it Temperance?

BTW - What a crazy story about the Whitlams. I hope your brother's content with his decision and has no regrets.
and...how can u ask us not to ask about the illicitly earned C notes? lol (I'm kidding)

I read a little about the group and the sad meaning of the song. What a shame. Contrary to belief, fame and fortune can't always buy you happiness deep within.

None of the above guesses are correct, sadly.

Currently, said brother is leading a local group in his spare time called the Electric Flea Orchestra <grin>.

The money is forever a secret.

If you want real sadness in Whitlams songs, try listening to Charlie 1 and Charlie 2. I won't link them here because they're not clues to the current card.

This song is.

Perfect! You win. The game is yours - set us a clue to a card.
