All four elements are shown in this card, & an eagle, a ram, an ox & a snake eating its tail (WHAT'S that called? I forget.). A naked woman, holding a wand in each hand, is encircled by the snake, while her foot rests upon the ox head. The eagle hovers over her head & seems to be imparting wisdom into her ear, as it grabs for the sword. Everything is all swirly, resembling a vortex of power, reminding me of the myriad possibilities of magic.

It's very reminiscent of the World card. I haven't thought of using it for anything yet, but I'll have to try it. It is sort of an analogue to the "To All Believers" card, which I do leave in the deck now.

Ouroboros. Wikipedia says it better than I, "The Ouroboros (or Uroborus)[1] is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. It comes from the Greek words oura (Greek ουρά) meaning "tail" and bόros (Greek βόρος) meaning "eating", thus "he who eats the tail".[2]

The Ouroboros often represents self-reflexivity or cyclicality, especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return, and other things perceived as cycles that begin anew as soon as they end (the mythical phoenix has a similar symbolism). "
