My blue box, Lo Scarabeo, Every Day Oracle (Vera Sibilla Italiana) is the same as conurelover's, same pretty backs. The ISBN is 9788883956805, if that helps.

Yes, that did help kalliope thanks :) It's not the same ISBN as the one I'd put in my basket so I went hunting on Amazon and found yours. The one you've quoted costs more in Amazon fr yet it's smaller (according to the specifications they've listed) so no idea what's going on there. They are both Lo Scarabeo.

conurelover, thanks very much for taking the photos :) Very helpful to see them side by side like that!

They are both very different looking decks. I hadn't realised that the Everyday Oracle now has black borders but they actually look lovely. I can see how you could run a story together with the keywords and the image.

I pulled three tarot cards to ask about the Everyday Oracle and drew 9 of Pents, Page of Pents and the Hierophant so that looks like a Green for Go lol  I also have free postage in amazon fr at the moment so it's not expensive.

And maybe the numbers are the lottery numbers?

That is so funny you said that about the lotto numbers. I found this last night while surfing the net. http://104etal.wordpress.com/about-the-sibilla-cards/ Read down to the bottom, the comments...hahaha!

Enjoy your new cards.

 I confess, I'd already seen this book http://www.lulu.com/shop/alessandra...-the-vera-sibilla/ebook/product-21586206.html but rather dismissed it as fanciful which is a bit hypocritical considering I'm looking for a straightforward fortune telling deck! I mean, who am I to say that her book won't work?

Actually, this lady has another book out on reading with the Vera Sibilla. I was quite interested but when I clicked on one of her YouTube vids she called people who collect and think they can read the tarot 'intuitively' just hobbyists  She even showed a collection of 'hobbyist' tarot cards including several that I have myself  So I switched off in a huff.

Is the blog written by that author?

Is the blog written by that author?

I've no idea! I've just had another look at your link and she has a lot of interesting info. The lady who wrote the book on the lottery numbers also has a complete website for learning her methods here http://www.verasibilla.com/italian-cartomancy-learn-la-vera-sibilla-italiana.html but you have to buy the book/or sign up for her private course. Not sure she'd leave another blog up with information for free so maybe it's a completely different person?

That book is the only book that shows a winning lottery ticket. I got the book and it's very good, in my opinion

I just visited the blog...there is hardly anything on there!

LOL. But since there is so little on Sibilla in the English language online, it feels like a lot. ;)
