Age of Aquarius?

I always hear about this... the transition from Pisces to Aquarius... does anyone here know it means?

The position of the Sun at the (Northern hemisphere) vernal equinox defines the beginning of Aries in what is called the Tropical Zodiac. The pattern of background stars, however, is slowly moving towards the previous sign each year.

At the moment, at the (northern) vernal equinox, the stars behind the Sun form part of the constellation of Pisces, so we are still in the age of pisces. When the Sun, at the equinox, finally reaches Aquarius, then the age of Aquarius will have been entered, and it will last for approx. 2600 years.

According to some researchers, this will occur in the year 2375.

Hope this helps.
