The Other Frog Tarot.

Alta

oh my goodness.

Lillie I have loved all of the cards, but that cross-eyed 'froggie Gabriel' in Judgement had me in giggles.

Alta

Lillie

Ho hum.

I dicked about with different colours of sky for temperance, the wings didn't show up very well on a lighter sky, which is why it's dark.
I do have other wings, straight ones.

I may change it.

That whole card looks messy.

But right now it's most important to me to get the damn deck done and to have something for each card if I can get it together.

They can be cleaned up later.

Alta, yes, that big frog is a funny looking thing, isn't she?

She's going to be the devil, and then I think her work is done.

The little ones have a few more cards to do yet!

Lillie

By the way.
I don't mind people saying what they think of these cards.

I might not necessarily listen to them, but I am interested in their thoughts and I won't be offended if someone says they think something is badly wrong with a card.
Sometimes when I have been looking at a card for hours I can't judge it clearly any more, it helps to see it through someone else's eyes.

The problem with the heirophant was with the heirophant itself.
I don't like the card, I didn't like doing it.
I knew it wasn't right but I didn't want to have to fix it.

In the end these cards are just funny frogs acting out tarot cards.
They do some better than they do others.

Anyhow, I'm off to give the fool a go now.

I've just looked at your new Heirophant card, got to say it looks really good now. I can understand your point about not focusing upon what you do not like, and I feel a few of us would be in the same boat at times!

Saying that is like saying charcoal is just a burnt bit of wood and it can do dark better than light--your frogs are your tools and they work well, along with your image manipulation skills.

Though this is a very light hearted deck, at times, it can be very good and, dare I say it, very arty. Adam might not like this deck on his pages, but it is still art, like comic book art is.

However if you I would 'mail him and ask him to have a look--the worst is he'll turn you down; the best, maybe your deck could get published!

I'll have to check this thread sometime soon then!

Kenny :)

It's brilliant ! All of it is. I might even alert Adam myself - but I do think it isn't his thing.....

Lillie

You have to be joking!

Really, this isn't for publication and I wouldn't embarrass anyone by asking them to consider it and forcing them to tell me no.

It's a joke.

Funny frogs doing silly things.

Something to do when I haven't got anything better to do....

Lillie

Oh yeah.

If people keep taking it serious....

I won't finish it, and then you'll all be sorry.....

gregory

:bugeyed:

ummmmmmmm
errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

They are very silly indeed and I think you are daft to be doing them and you better stoppit cos you are abusing innocent stuffing. Not to mention tadpoles.

Is that OK ? I NEED the rest of these cards.... :(

Lillie

Yeah, that's ok now.

I'll carry on with the froggy fool.
