The thing about Berlin in the 20's is it was a fairly catastrophically dark time, yet it was a powerhouse of creative energy and self-expression.

I started working on this deck (Cult of Weimar Tarot) a long time ago, not anticipating where things were headed politically speaking. Now that it is out, it just seems to fit right in to the current zeitgeist.
And like you said, dark times are often best met with an artist's heart.
